One of the standout features of the Laguna P|Flux 3 is its cyclone technology. This powerful cyclone system effectively separates fine dust from larger waste chippings, preventing clogging and maintaining consistent suction power. The upkeep is effortless with the fully automated paddle cleaning system. During operation, cleaning automatically begins every 10 minutes and every time the cyclone is stopped. The 0.4 micron pleated filter ensures that even the finest dust particles are captured. The filter is easy to clean and maintain, providing long-lasting performance. A further enhancement is the riveted steel fan with a backward curved fin design. The high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter is another key component of this extractor as it allows even the smallest dust particles, down to 0.4 micron, to be captured. Previously, HEPA material was too delicate to incorporate an internal paddle cleaning system. However, a recent innovation has introduced a Teflon membrane on the inner wall of the HEPA material. This membrane improves the inner surface of the filter, enabling dust to move down more smoothly and quickly, reducing dust build up on the wall. As a result, the filter's efficiency and lifespan are extended, and it becomes durable enough to accommodate the cleaning system.

Noise levels are kept to a minimum thanks to the swing-away doors with acoustic foam liner. This design feature reduces the noise generated by the extractor, creating a quieter and more pleasant working environment at just 76dB. Compared to a traditional extractor of equal size, which is around 86db, this gives a perceived volume level reduction of around 50% to the human ear.
