SCM Profiset 60 Automatic Planer and Throughfeed Moulder is a 6-spindle automatic planer and throughfeed moulder with 40 mm profiling capacity by means of vertical spindles.

Features the “EASY PLUS” electronic control with 7" colour display, 16:9 for a simple and intuitive management of all machine functions. Powerful, efficient and linear feeding is ensured by the gearbox feed drive system and the cardan joints combined with the pneumatic pressure on the feed rollers. The reference engraver placed on the infeiron planer spindle acts as a straightening system.

“T-SET” rapid tool locking device
Maximum degree of safety without any efforts. It ensures the locking/unlocking of tools simply through a gun with compressed air.

Features

Machine base
Thick steel machine base with strongly ribbed structure and tubular supporting base.

Worktables
Tubular steel infeed table with vertical adjustment by means of parallelogram system. The cast iron worktables have a low friction co-efficient and are extremely hardwearing. They are equipped with removable inserts in front of the vertical spindles.

Fences
Widthwise adjustable infeed right fence by means of parallelogram system and it is complete with a pre-straightening system through the reference engraver placed on planer spindle (tool is not included).
Right fences with easily adjustable sectors for a correct positioning according to the used tools.

Spindles
100 mm diameter cast iron spindle cylinder with a couple of 85mm diameter radial bearings. Centre-to-centre distance between bearings: 215mm to ensure the maximum stiffness and precision.

Feed system
The beam which supports the feed system is made of a tubular ribbed structure and it is provided with manual vertical movement or automatic movement by NC coupled to the top horizontal spindle.
The feed speed can be stepless adjusted by means of an inverter. Feed rollers are driven by universal joints and gearbox drive. An idle roller placed on the outfeed table improves the feed when dealing with
particular machined sections. Shafts and feed rollers made of steel with hardened surface and standard pneumatic pressure.

"SET UP" quick adjustment system
The picture refers the composition 5 It is a patented, exclusive SCM device allowing very easy and quick set-up with every tool change.
The right and left vertical spindles (on request also top horizontal spindle) are equipped with the "SET UP" quick adjustment system, which allows the set-up of the machine in one single step.
It is enough to set the minimum tool diameter (in case of a top horizontal spindle), and the tool itself, working thickness, front/rear pressures, feed rollers are automatically adjusted.

Working unit positioning
All working unit adjustments are controlled from the machine front with
mechanical digital readout of position and decimal precision of work section.

Ergonomics
All controls are placed on the machine front at a suitable height for easy use. The integral safety enclosure ensures low emission of noise and dust guaranteeing a full view of the machine at the same time.

Standard* delivery via courier is free for orders over £50 ex vat and under 30kg in weight.

Orders under £50 ex vat and 30kg in weight are subject to a standard* £5.83 ex vat handling and packaging fee.

Orders received after 12pm Monday to Friday will be processed and dispatched the next working day (excludes weekends). Standard delivery via courier is free for orders over £50 ex vat and under 30kg in weight.
