The STIHL RM 655 VS petrol lawn mower has a powerful Kohler engine. With its Vario drive and a cutting width of 53 cm / 21", it is the perfect mower for mowing large lawns.

The central seven-setting cutting deck can easily be adjusted from 25 to 85 mm. During lawn mowing, the speed of the powerful engine always remains constant, even during changes in the drive speed, ensuring the mower is always working at its best.

The mono-comfort handlebar gives uninterrupted access to the grass catcher box, making it so much easier to empty when full. For even more convenience, the blade brake clutch of the RM 655 VS allows you to disengage the blades with the engine running so you don't have to restart after emptying the grass box.

The fold-open 70 l grass catcher box features an intergrated level indicator which lets you know when the grass needs emptying.

COMFORTABLE WORKING AND STORAGE.
The mono-comfort handlebar is only mounted on one side of the lawn mower, making it easier for you to remove the grass collection box. As the handlebar is height-adjustable, it enables you to mow your lawn comfortably and ergonomically. You can adjust it to your preferred height without using tools. As the handlebar is also foldable, the lawn mower can be compactly stored and transported.

Vario wheel drive allows you to adjust the speed of your lawn mower to suit your personal mowing habits and grass conditions. The mowing speed can be adjusted on a an infinitely variable basis via the control lever on the handlebar.

MOW AND FERTILISE IN A SINGLE STEP.
The mulching function saves you having to dispose of cuttings and lets you fertilise your lawn naturally. The mulching blades shred the cut grass into small particles which are then automatically distributed evenly over the turf.

FLEXIBLE MOWING AND MULCHING.
The multi-blade allows you to mow and mulch without changing the blade. The specially shaped blades shred the cut grass. Then you decide whether the grass should be transported into the collection box via air flow, or further shredded and distributed evenly over the green area to become a nutrient-rich fertiliser.

RUN THE ENGINE WITHOUT BLADES.
The blade-brake coupling ensures effective crankshaft protection. You can use it to decouple the blade from the engine on your lawn mower. If, for example, you need to drive over rocky ground or stone slabs, you can use the wheel drive of the lawn mower to move the lawn mower without the blades running.

EASY EMPTYING.
Your lawn mower is equipped with a folding grass collection box to make emptying clippings very straightforward. The fill-level indicator signals the right time for emptying. An airstream ensures dense filling while mowing, so you can make optimum use of the full volume of the box. The slats on the side of the box direct the air towards the ground, which protects you from dirt being swirled up.

FOR OPTIMUM MOWER RESULTS.
You can adjust the cutting height on your lawn mower easily and in several levels. A scale shows the current height. Central cut-height adjustment allows you to optimally adapt your mowing to the conditions of the lawn.
