Delivery & Returns


All orders sent from stock are dispatched on a 24 hour service. We take great care to provide a delivery service that you can rely on but ultimately the courier is responsible for your delivery and we will not incur any liability for any late deliveries or any third-party costs what-so-ever. Occasionally there may be circumstances out-with our control which prevent the courier from delivering on time such as traffic, weather conditions and strikes. We can only apologise on behalf of the courier for any delays in shipments.

Deliveries may require a signature at the point of handover, customers are encouraged to make an effort to be available for receiving delivery of your order. In the event that the customer is not home or un-available when delivery is attempted a calling card should be left detailing the drivers’ actions and how to arrange redelivery. You may also check your shipment email for tracking information.

UK Mainland Delivery

Stock orders received before 12pm Monday to Friday will be processed and dispatched the same working day.

Orders received after 12pm Monday to Friday will be processed and dispatched the next working day (excludes weekends).

Standard delivery via courier is free for orders over £50 ex vat and under 30kg in weight.

Orders under £50 ex vat and 30kg in weight are subject to a standard £5.83 ex vat handling and packaging fee.

Orders over 30kg will be subject to courier or volumetric surcharges.


Volumetric Surcharge

Some products are very large, long or oddly shaped and sometimes delivery costs cannot be determined in the usual way for UK Mainland. Couriers use volumetric calculations to determine the overall size of a package, if a package exceeds the volumetric limitations a £20 (ex vat) surcharge is applicable for delivery.


Local Collection

Local customers may collect orders during office hours from our trade shop in Glasgow. There is no option for collection on the website but you may use the order comments section during checkout to let us know that you intend to collect. When you visit our store to collect you will need to quote your order number from the order confirmation email. Photographic proof of identification may be required upon collection. Any packaging and handling fees still apply and are non-refundable.


Highlands and Islands

Highlands and Islands and offshore locations will have extended delivery times and may result in courier surcharges.


Northern Ireland

Due to courier restrictions and surcharges all deliveries to Northern Ireland are subject to a standard £20 (ex vat) handling and packaging fee.


Deliveries Direct from the Supplier

We cannot guarantee stock availability of any product sold which comes direct from the supplier. We work closely with many suppliers who will deliver goods directly to our customers, delivery times may vary especially for products which come from European countries or products which are manufactured to order.

Direct dispatch items are only available to Mainland UK. Tracking is not available for orders that are dispatched direct from supplier.

If you have any questions regarding goods sent direct from our suppliers or wish to check stock before placing your order please call us. We will always contact you if the supplier is out of stock or lead times are longer than usual, where possible we will always recommend a substitute.

In the unlikely event that an item does not meet your expectations, is unwanted, faulty or damaged when you receive it, you can obtain a replacement or full refund providing the item(s) is returned unused in its original packaging and includes any accessories provided as well as any items provided free of charge or as part of a package deal within 14 days of your purchase. Your statutory rights are not affected. Goods must be returned at customers expense unless otherwise agreed with a Saw Centre employee.



If you need to cancel an order please let us know as soon as possible after placing your order to avoid the item(s) being shipped. If you've already received your order it can only be cancelled within 14 days of receiving the order providing the item(s) are unused in its original packaging and includes any accessories provided as well as any items provided free of charge or as part of a package deal. Goods must be returned to The Saw Centre at customers expense unless otherwise agreed with a Saw Centre employee, your refund will be processed once goods are received and inspected.

Sometimes technical or human error causes items on the website to be incorrectly priced or described, we reserve the right to cancel any order where any error has caused items to be sold under value or not as described. We will cancel the order at our discretion and provide a full refund notifying the customer via phone or email, customers may first be contacted regarding the order to be offered the opportunity to continue at the correct price or description. In the event a customer cannot be contacted or fails to respond to our attempts at communication within a reasonable time frame the order will be cancelled and refunded.

Age Restricted Products

Some products have age restrictions for safety. By ordering these products you confirm that you are over the age of 18 and consent to our age verification checks. We reserve the right to ask the customer for proof of age with any purchase of age restricted products, we will require a photo of valid UK ID registered at the address used for the order, once verification is complete your order will be processed, if you are unable to verify your age we reserve the right to cancel your order and you will be refunded.
