SCM Profiset 40 Automatic Planer and Throughfeed Moulder is a 4-spindle automatic planer and throughfeed moulder with 10 mm profiling capacity by means of vertical spindles.

Features maximum efficiency with minimum overall dimensions. The electronic version manages the work sections and the feed speed automatically; it is also equipped with a single button for the sequential motors start. The reference engraver placed on the infeiron planer spindle acts as a straightening system.

Features

Machine base
The robust machine base is of heavy ribbed tubular sectioned steel enabling vibrations to be reduced to a minimum and guaranteeing long-life constant performance.

Worktables
Tubular steel infeed table with vertical adjustment by means of parallelogram system. The cast iron worktables have a low friction co-efficient and are extremely hardwearing.

Fences
Widthwise adjustable infeed fence by means of parallelogram system and it is complete with a pre-straightening system through the reference engraver placed on planer spindle (tool is not included).

Feed system
The top beam which incorporates the feed system is made of thick, ribbed tubular structure. Idle roller integrated in the outfeed table. Shafts and feed rollers are of steel with hardened surface.

Rapid adjustment system 
Pressers placed in front and behind the top horizontal spindle are simultaneously adjustable with spindle and feed rollers. The left vertical spindle with infeed presser group and outfeed fence are simultaneously adjustable for prompt and easy setting up.

Working units positioning
All adjustments of working units are controlled from the machine front with mechanical decimal readout of work section.
