Laguna FUSION 1 Table Saw 250mm

An entry level, classic US style cabinet table saw which looks and performs as well as the original versions.

The new Laguna FUSION 1 2024 model has a large precision ground mirror finished cast iron tabletop with additional steel fabricated tables to the left and right giving an overall table width of 112cm (44"). An MDF rear extension table increases the table depth to 130cm (50"), adding further stability when ripping long lengths.

The classic 'T Style' rip fence, glides smoothly on nylon pads and is rock solid when locked using the cam lock soft grip handle. The Hi-Lo fence design allows narrow cuts even in thin material without fouling the blade guard. The measuring scale is marked in both metric and inches. Two sight lines, for Hi and Lo fence position, ensure accurate fence setting to the desired cutting width. A storage clip ensures that the push stick is always within reach when you need it.

The cast iron table has 2 T-slots which can be used with the sliding crosscut mitre fence. It has an aluminium body, with an adjustable steel fence rotating to 60 degrees each way with preset stops at commonly used angles.

Blade adjustments are made using 2 hand wheels. The front hand wheel, for adjusting blade height, has a spindle lock, perfect for accurate non-through cuts. The side hand wheel is used to tilt the blade angle which can be easily read of the large scale on the front of the cabinet.

The 'zero clearance' throat plate, supplied as standard, has fine adjustment screws to precisely set it to the table surface. To speed up blade changing operations the throat plate has quick action removal, the riving knife has quick action removal and there is a tool free spindle lock.

The heart of the saw is the powerful braked motor which is mounted under the cast iron table via solid cast alloy trunnions. A drive belt transfers power to the blade arbor which has sealed and permanently lubricated long life bearings.

The fusion design has an emphasis on superior dust collection for operator safety and machine longevity. Utilizing over/under collection. All dust is collected through a single 100mm diameter port at the rear.

The standard equipment also includes: on-board storage for the rip fence and mitre fence, 40 tooth TCT sawblade, fence mounted push stick, 1.8m power cable with UK 3 pin plug.
